My wife and I visited Souk Madinat Jumeirah on a weekday to enjoy an immersive digital art experience at TODA Dubai. Theatre of Digital Art (TODA) Dubai is the UAE’s first digital art museum where you can enjoy a 360-degree experience.

We marvelled at the paintings of renowned impressionists, with Gustav Klimt’s “The Kiss” being the centrepiece of the exhibition. My wife appreciates art and when we learned about Klimt as the main highlight, we immediately took the opportunity to visit.

Aside from Klimt, we spent time admiring the works of Monet and Manet; Degas and Renoir; Toulouse-Lautrec, and Rousseau. It was amazing to see these famous paintings come alive with vibrant hues and brushstrokes on the screen.

TODA PRESENTS “Klimt and The Impressionists”

Embark on a journey into the heart of art with Klimt and the Impressionists.

March 1, 2023: The Theatre of Digital Art, with the support of Belvedere Museum and the Crypto Oasis, brings a beautiful art exhibition that features the incredible work of “Klimt and The Impressionists”, further revolutionising the reach of impressionism and modern masterpieces in Dubai.  From March 1st to March 15th, be enchanted by the creations of seven renowned impressionists: Gustav Klimt, Edouard Manet, Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, August Renoir, Henri Toulouse-Lautrec, and Henri Rousseau.

The 55-minute exhibition allows the audience to fully immerse themselves in the paintings that started an entire revolution. Come and experience the best of the impressionist era with “The Luncheon on the Grass” (Manet), “Dance At The Moulin De La Galette” (Renoir), “Woman With a Parasol” (Monet), “L’Absinth” (Degas), “The Dream” (Rousseau), and “At The Moulin Rouge” (Toulouse-Lautrec). Walk in any time of the day and transport yourselves back to the 1800s on an empty canvas that uses bold brushstrokes, vibrant hues, and a fusion of neo-classical and classical music in the background.

The exhibition focuses on “The Kiss” by Austrian art genius; Gustav Klimt who is also the show’s centrepiece. TODA along with Belvedere Museum has announced an NFT drop to own a piece of “The Kiss.” The iconic painting that symbolises “lovers” was sectioned in a 100 x 100 grid, creating 10,000 distinctive individual pieces; that is being offered as a limited edition to purchase as a non-funding table token (NFT). Consumers can now be a part of Klimt’s legacy and own a high-resolution digital copy of “This Kiss,” available for purchase at a unit price of 1,850 euros.

Make sure you catch this one-of-a-kind experience, available to book every day from 10 am – 10 pm with tickets priced at AED 125 and family packages available only at the Theatre of Digital Art.
