Banijay Asia has signed a deal with distributor All3Media International to create the Indian adaptation of popular drama series, The Tourist.
Starring Jamie Dornan, the original series was written by Harry and Jack Williams, the creators of Rellik and Boat Story, and was produced by Two Brothers Pictures and Highview Productions.
The plot of the original series revolves around an Irishman who wakes up in an Australian hospital with amnesia after a car crash. Trying to find answers, he comes across a local woman who remembers him and offers to help him to rediscover his identity. A few clues that they manage to uncover hint at a dark past from which he must escape before it catches up with him.
