What I Like About the Great Jones All Aboard & 6″ Chef’s Knife
I’ve been wary of cooking bundles in the past because they either come with extra items that I don’t need, or I end up using some items more than others, wishing I had purchased them individually. So I was a bit hesitant to try the Great Jones set, but having used it for three weeks, it has proven to be a vast improvement over my previous experiences.
The cutting board has two sides: one side has a bit of texture, perfect for cutting and preparing food, and the other side is smoother and can be used as a serving board. I’ve used both sides, alternating between the smoother one for a charcuterie display when I have friends over and the oversized texture side when I’m meal prepping.
The knife is ergonomically designed and fits perfectly in my small palm — I can securely grip it and dice, chop, and cut through a variety of foods. But most importantly, the broccoli-green board and raspberry-pink knife make cooking in colder temperatures so enjoyable. What to Consider Before Trying the Great Jones All Aboard & 6″ Chef’s Knife
If you’re new to spending time in the kitchen, you might find the knife a bit too advanced. The sharp blade cuts seamlessly through everything but I wouldn’t recommend it as a starting knife for beginners. However, if you’re a more advanced cook, you’ll find great use in the long and durable cutting board and cut-through-anything knife.
