Each episode will dig into the themes of the show including loss, grief, love, blending families, body issues, sibling rivalry, terminal illness, miscarriage, racism, adoption, relationships, and substance abuse.
Moore played Rebecca Pearson, Brown plays Randall Pearson and Sullivan played Toby Damon in the series, which also starred Chrissy Metz, Milo Ventimiglia, Ron Cephas Jones and Justin Hartley.
The podcast will be produced by by Rob Holysz and Jeph Porter of Rabbit Grin Productions and Sara Wehrheim of Hearsay, who originally served as the social media manager of the cast. Ossa Collective will serve as the exclusive sales partner.
It joins the likes of a Suits rewatch pod as well as those covering shows such as Curb Your Enthusiasm, Prison Break, Friday Night Lights and Veep.
Chris Sullivan said, “It all started during a simple coffee meet-up with Sterling. We realized there was so much more to explore and share. ‘Let the journey continue,’ we thought, and here we are.”
Sterling K. Brown added, “It was the quickest ‘yes’. To be able to once again join forces and work with the fam again? Easy.”
Mandy Moore said, “These guys told me what they were up to and I jumped in. The Pearsons’ stories may have ended after six seasons, but ours continue on so why not keep doing life together? There’s much to connect over and lots of healing to be done.”
