One of Bravo’s most beloved couples has called it quits.
Paige DeSorbo of “Summer House” and Craig Conover of “Southern Charm” have “decided to no longer be together,” Paige said on the Dec. 30 episode of her “Giggly Squad” podcast, which she co-hosts with her former Bravo castmate and best friend, Hannah Berner.
“It’s very weird, I wasn’t expecting this,” Paige said, acknowledging she began dating Craig in her late 20s, and she’s now in her early 30s. They were together for three years.
“When we first started dating, like, you don’t think, like, ‘Oh, what’s going to happen? Will we get married?’”
Paige said she believes a person’s early 30s are “very transformative,” for women especially, and that both she and Craig changed and grew a lot.
Paige also put rumors to rest that the two wouldn’t discuss a breakup until either “Summer House” or “Southern Charm” premiered on Bravo. Season 9 of “Summer House” premieres Feb. 12, 2025, while the 10th season of “Southern Charm” debuted Dec. 5.
“No one can tell me what to do,” Paige said about the rumors of a split timeline. “The network has power, but they don’t have that much power. … That was not a real thing. Rumors of us breaking up months ago — again, also not a real thing.”
She also debunked a rumor that their relationship was just for publicity, saying she and Craig have been dealing with false stories about them their entire time together.
Paige said when she and Craig did actually break up, they didn’t “run to social media” or “Giggly Squad” to share the news.
“We both gave each other a little time to deal with it on our own, in private, with our family and friends, and now I feel like it is appropriate to be able to tell people.”
Paige explained she wanted to tell her and Hannah’s loyal listeners, known as the “Gigglers,” first and not share a joint Instagram post about it.
“I have so much love and respect for Craig,” she said. “I think he is one of the best people I’ve ever met in my entire life. I will remain the biggest fan of him and want the best for him, and he truly will get the best because he is the best.”
“I love him,” she later added. “I think he loves me. I think we will remain friends. No one did anything, it wasn’t, like, a bad thing. I think we both were just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn’t want. And I think that’s extremely powerful to be able to voice how you’re feeling in real time and what you want for your future.”
Hannah, who spent a few seasons herself on “Summer House” with Paige, acknowledged that “reality TV dating is really hard.” She added that Craig was the first guy who really “lifted” Paige up.
“He was so proud of you for what you were accomplishing, on TV and off TV, and you hadn’t had a guy support you like that,” Hannah said. “He’s a huge reason for who you are in the last couple years becoming who you are.”
Paige thanked Hannah for her kind words and said Craig “truly helped” her “grow so much in these past three years.”
“I am a different person than when I started dating him,” she continued. “I truly do feel more mature, more just, like, confident, all of these things, and that’s definitely a tribute to him.”
