The 10 Best Drinks in Las Vegas
These are the best drinks in Las Vegas to enjoy on your next trip whether you’re staying on the Strip or off the Strip.
1. Island Time Floats Tiki Bar
This is one of the places we went to on our very first trip together and have been going back ever since!
In the past they were always doing 2 for 1 drinks and they stay open pretty late.
We love their tropical drinks, especially in the summer time when it is still in the 90s at night time.
2. Planet Hollywood at The Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace
This one is more so on the list for it’s location and view.
Of course there are Planet Hollywood’s in tons of tourist destinations, but this one has a great patio overlooking the Strip.
We went on a slow afternoon in the middle of the week and had the whole patio to ourselves!
They generally offer Happy Hours, so that’s an even better time to visit.
3. Taco Bell Cantina
There’s a handful of locations now, but the Las Vegas Strip location is our favorite.
The drinks are kind of expensive considering the deals you can get elsewhere, but what you’re really paying for is the novelty.
You get to choose what kind of alcohol to add to your frozen drink and can even add extra shots.
I usually go for the Pina Colada and JP usually gets the Baja Blast.
4. Fuel Bar at Grand Bazaar Shops
This place is ALWAYS giving out 2 for 1 coupons, which is why it’s a must visit!
They also usually put on a show when they make your drinks by flipping around bottles and stuff, which is also cool.
We always end up coming home with more coupons than we could use in one trip, so we always hold onto them for the next time.
Side note, Fuel Bar is in the same area as Island Time Floats Tiki Bar and Giordano’s!
5. Margaritaville
Margaritaville has Happy Hour all day every day, which is why we wanted to include it on this list!
It has a great atmosphere and it’s a great place to stop in for frozen drinks, a Cheeseburger in Paradise, and some Key Lime Pie!
6. The Underground Speakeasy & Distillery
This is another place located Downtown (Fremont Street).
It is underneath the Mob Museum over by the Downtown Grand Hotel.
To get in, you’ll need to find them on Instagram and find out that day or week’s code.
One thing we love about visiting this Speakeasy is the way they serve their drinks.
If you order an Old Fashioned, it comes pre-mixed in a fake book and you pour it into your glass of ice.
JP loves to get an Old Fashioned pretty much anywhere we go and I like a good Irish Coffee, especially when I’m cold (which is a lot).
7. Montecristo Cigar Bar
We went here on a recent visit where we were stopping through Vegas for a night.
We had a comp room at Caesar’s Palace, which we had never stayed at before.
So we decided to take advantage of the opportunity.
We met up with friends here for drinks and they have a great wine list.
8. Frankie’s Tiki Room
Here’s a place that’s not on The Strip OR Downtown.
Frankie’s Tiki Room.
It’s a local favorite and I highly recommend visiting at least once.
Fun fact – the designer of this bar is a descendant of one of the designer’s of the original Enchanted Tiki Room at Disneyland!
It’s very dark inside, so it takes a minute for your eyes to adjust.
They have A TON of tropical drinks to try.
It’ll probably take us 20+ visits to try them all.
I personally tend to go more for the coconut and pineapple type drinks, but they have a much larger variety than just those.
9. Ghost Donkey
This one is a speakeasy inside the Cosmopolitan.
There are no signs, so you just have to look for the donkey on the door.
I’ll give you a hint, it’s located inside of the food court where District Donuts is!
10. Tipsy Robot at the Miracle Mile Shops
This bar is at the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, right in the middle of the Strip.
The novelty of this place is that robots are the bartenders and you get to watch them make all the drinks that are ordered.
The other side of the bar does have a traditional bar, with cheaper drinks and more specials.
If you time it right, you can save money by watching a bunch of other people have their drinks made, while you get a drink from the “human bar”.
Where To Stay When You’re In Las Vegas
You’ll need a place to stay while you’re exploring all of these restaurants.
These are our favorites.
✔️ Horseshoe Las Vegas Hotel and Casino
Horseshoe is consistently one of the cheapest hotels you can stay in on the Las Vegas Strip.
It’s centrally located on The Strip too, which seems even more incredible that it’s affordable.
I recommend signing up for the free Caesar’s Rewards program to get discounted and complimentary stays at this hotel.
Generally with the Caesar’s Rewards discount, at a minimum you’ll get an extra 10% off, but usually more unless it’s a holiday.
There are even other offers sometimes too where you get food and drink credits during your stay.

✔️ Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino
The Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino is right next door to Horseshoe.
So again it is very centrally located on The Strip.
It is also part of the Caesar’s Rewards program, so I highly recommend joining that to save some money on your next stay.
It’s not always the cheapest place on The Strip, but pretty regularly throughout the year you can get a room for less than $100 a night, including the resort fee.
Everything about this resort really makes you feel like you’re in Paris, so it’s luxury on a budget.

✔️ Polo Towers by Diamond Resorts
Polo Towers is a timeshare resort right on The Strip.
It is owned by Diamond Resorts, which was recently bought out by Hilton Grand Vacation Club.
Polo Towers is closer toward the south end of the Strip, near where Excalibur and New York New York are located.
So it’s still part of the action of the Las Vegas Strip, it’s just not right in the middle like the other two. But here’s the perk – Polo Towers has kitchens!
Most Las Vegas hotels don’t even have refrigerators anymore, unless they are fully stocked with upcharged alcohol.
At Polo Towers, you can bring all the food and drinks you want that can fit in a full sized fridge.
That is the biggest draw for us because Vegas is HOT in the Summer and I drink an absurd amount of water and I prefer it to be cold.
