🚨Warning: Spoilers ahead for Season 6 of “Love Island USA”…
After six weeks of watching endless drama, the formation of friendships, declarations of love and the jaw-dropping entrances of 23 bombshells to the villa — only one couple was left standing at the end of “Love Island USA” Season 6.
At the start of Episode 36, the finale, four couples remained: Kendall Washington and Nicole Jacky, Serena Page and Kordell Beckham, JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez, and Leah Kateb and Miguel Harichi. Each couple awoke eagerly anticipating a text with details about their romantic final dates.
Kendall and Nicole enjoyed a day at sea parasailing; Leah and Miguel explored Fiji on ATVs; Serena and Kordell watched their love story at a drive-in movie theater, and JaNa and Kenny received affirmations from their family.
Next, it was time for the islanders to get dressed to the nines and pen love letters to their partners. They then shared romantic words to each other before host Ariana Madix arrived to announce whom America chose as the winner of the season.
Madix revealed that Nicole and Kendall came in fourth place, then JaNa and Kenny in third.
After a dramatic pause, Madix declared Serena and Kordell the winners. Leah and Miguel were the runners-up.
Serena and Kordell celebrated with a big hug and adorable kiss as fireworks shot off in the background. Madix teared up as JaNa ran over to hug Serena, and Leah and Miguel shared a kiss celebrating their second place finish.
Then, continuing a “Love Island” tradition, they each received an envelope for a final test, with only one containing the $100,000 prize. Kordell picked the money and decided to split it with Serena.
With that, “Love Island USA” Season 6’s impressive run as the show of the summer officially came to an end. But fans don’t have to say goodbye yet.
At the end of the finale, Madix revealed that the cast is invited to a “Love Island USA” reunion special, set to hit Peacock Aug. 19.
“We’ll be there,” JaNa said in excitement. “We’ll be there.”
ITV Entertainment executive producer Simon Thomas previously revealed to TODAY.com what he credits with the season’s success, citing a focus on “appointment viewing,” the introduction of Madix and, of course, the cast.
“The cast is phenomenal,” he said. “They have given so much of themselves. Again, that’s magic. You can’t predict that. You can’t plan on it. You got to hope for it and cast as well as you can.”
